Job Description
Designation: Assistant Manager - Business HR
Location : Bhadla (Rajasthan)
Location
Rajasthan Cluster (Covering Barmer, Bhadla, Bikaner, Jaisalmer and nearby Solar EPC project sites)
Role Purpose
The Assistant Manager - HRBP (Site Operations) will act as the HR representative for Solar EPC project sites, ensuring strong employee connect, governance, workforce visibility, and compliance across assigned locations. The role will serve as the bridge between site employees and the Corporate HR team by proactively identifying concerns, driving employee experience, validating workforce information, and ensuring effective implementation of HR policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Connect & Grievance Management
- Conduct regular employee interactions and listening sessions across project sites.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Track, escalate, and ensure timely closure of employee issues.
- Provide monthly insights on employee sentiment, engagement, and key concerns.
Site Manpower Governance
- Validate actual manpower availability at site.
- Monitor manpower movement across projects and ensure records are updated accurately.
- Support workforce planning by providing real-time visibility of deployed manpower.
- Identify manpower risks and escalate critical shortages to business and HR leadership.
Attendance & Discipline Monitoring
- Review attendance adherence and highlight exceptions.
- Monitor absenteeism, late coming, and manpower utilization trends.
- Support site leaders in improving workforce discipline and productivity.
Site Allowance Verification & HR Controls
- Verify eligibility and deployment status of employees receiving site allowances.
- Ensure site allowances are processed accurately as per policy.
- Conduct periodic audits and validations to minimize errors and governance risks.
- Support payroll inputs related to location-based allowances and transfers.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure implementation of HR policies and processes across project sites.
- Monitor statutory and compliance requirements applicable to site operations.
- Coordinate joining, onboarding, transfers, confirmations, and separation activities.
- Maintain HR documentation and site audit readiness.
Business Partnership
- Partner with Project Directors, Site Managers, and Functional Leaders to support workforce requirements.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations based on field observations.
- Facilitate communication between business teams and corporate HR.
Reporting & Analytics
- Publish monthly site HR dashboards covering:
- Headcount
- Attendance
- Grievances
- Employee movements
- Site allowance validations
- Compliance observations
- Present key people risks and action plans to the HRBP Lead.
Education
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
Experience
- 4-6 years of plant/site HRBP
- Experience in project-based industries such as EPC, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Manufacturing, Construction, Mining, or Industrial Operations preferred.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed workforce is highly desirable.
