Job Description

The team member will drive key initiatives for the Office of the Chairman and CEO at ReNew, working closely with the Lead of Chairman/CEO office at ReNew. These initiatives could span a broad range of activities - from typical operational projects to programmes that lead to strengthening the brand of the company. 

This role will have to work with the senior leadership of the company. Hence, skills of influence without authority and sound communication, articulation and leadership capabilities will be critical for success in this role. 

Experience of the energy / renewable energy sector is highly preferred. 

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): 
1 Steer relationships with international platforms such as the World Economic Forum, International Energy Agency and RMI amongst others, maximizing outcomes for the CEO and ReNew
2 Strategize and programme – manage CEO presence and impact at major climate forums – New York Climate Week, COP and WEF Annual Meeting at Davos (amongst others as the case may be)
3 Deliver high-quality external and internal content for a variety of outcomes 
4 Manage external and internal communications for the office
5 Enable CEO’s priorities to best optimise his time and engagement 
6 Shadow the CEO as part of important engagements 

Key outcomes expected from the role:
1 Ensure smooth functioning of the executive office across operational and engagement aspects
2 Share timely status and view of initiatives to CEO and Chairman, with potential mitigation steps in case required
3 Enable right interventions from leadership to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in Core Operations
4 Engage and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders 

Type of experience and skills:
1 Experience in CEO’s office / Consulting / Managing large programmes
2 Experience of Power / Renewables industry is highly preferred
3 Analytical thinker who can plan, organize, execute and report out ideas and results
4 Excellent communication & articulation skills and experience of dealing with senior stakeholders
5 A background in Economics is an added advantage
