Job Description
Job Title: Site Engineer- Electrical ( O&M )
Job Purpose:
“To Improve Reliability & Maintain High Quality Standards for Life Cycle Asset Management by”
- Identifying technical issues, troubleshooting, pre-detection of risks & unseen snags. Effectiveness of maintenance done.
- Monitoring & Reviewing Effectiveness of RCA & Corrective & Preventive actions (CAPA) implementation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Practical exposure over SGRE WTG operation & maintenance process.
- Expertise in WTG troubleshooting (Electrical, Mechanical, Other components).
- Knowledge of WTG component functioning.
- To perform quality assurance & vigilance checks on WTGs.
- To perform special tasks, retrofits, investigate risks associated with assets.
- To perform SCADA data desktop study & knowledge on OEMs software tools.
- To check documentation as per ISO & Quality standards.
- To perform report on observations.
- Proficient with MS Office (word, excel, power point)
- Inspection to be done in totality irrespective of different WTG parts.
- To perform tasks as per safety standards.
- Carry out the maintenance as per the checklist and ensure that all checkpoints are attended to
Deliverables:
- The quality of the turbine is as per specs.
- Review of all compliance assessment reports provided by the original equipment manufacturer.
- Focus on the performance parameters and operational life of the asset and maintaining safe work practices at site.
- Inspection carried out to identify compliances with defined parameters site specific and mitigate the non-compliances.
- Specific inspections of the prime components and their peculiarities
- Performance compliance assessment with advance innovative technologies / tools for healthiness & pre-detection of risks.
- Holistic view of inspection to be done to identify the risks.
- Do an error analysis on a daily basis and identify and rectify the repeated faults.
- Eliminate the improbable cause of failure by conducting a deep thorough desktop analysis using SCADA data
- Ensure all the tools and tackles are present at the site and the same are calibrated as per the schedule

Profile & Eligible Criteria:
- Education: B.E. in electrical or Diploma in electrical
- Experience: BE with 3-6 Years’ or Diploma with 5-8 Years
- Worked on WTG
