Job Description

Position: Senior Engineer - Wind Engineering
Education: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 3 to 6 Years
Location: Hubli, Karnataka
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
• Lead SGRE WTG fleet (G97, G114, G122, G3X) across engineering, design, and technical operations
• Provide real-time support to sites on performance issues and key components (converter, transformer, generator, gearbox, main bearing)
• Conduct technical training on PM, troubleshooting, and critical systems
• Perform WTG audits and ensure effective reporting for optimal performance
• Develop technical instructions and SOPs as per business needs
• Ensure reliability, safety, and quality throughout lifecycle
• Identify and mitigate engineering/design risks with action plans
• Manage timely reports, issue escalation, and solutions
• Coordinate weekly meetings with central and site teams
• Support cross-functional discussions on contractor/supplier technical issues
