Job Description

Role Purpose

 

Provide advanced engineering expertise for wind turbine blade inspection, damage assessment, repair engineering, and life‑extension solutions. Act as the blade subject‑matter expert supporting field operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and high‑quality blade service delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Deliver technical expertise for blade inspections, structural evaluations, and damage classifications.
• Approve complex repair methods, engineering dispositions, and non-standard repair procedures.
• Develop and maintain blade repair standards, SOPs, quality checks, and material guidelines.
• Support field operations with troubleshooting, RCA, and on‑site/off‑site technical guidance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (Service, Quality, Design, OEMs) to ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in repair processes, tools, and blade performance enhancement.
