Job Summary:
In a role of Engineer in RPC^3 is a role in asset management of wind portfolio. Adding to this Establishes a strong collaborative relationship with the Technical Strategist, Process teams, and department Asset Leaders to ensure the optimal performance of the wind plants and continuous improvement plans to address chronic longer-term issues and advance the capability of the assets. To plan reliability enhancement through collecting and processing the data through remote Monitoring. Analyzing and presenting the data to the Asset Management team across site and state functions. Connecting hand between state function and central monitoring cell for the performance study and reviews.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The selected person for this position will be responsible for:
• Daily generation preparation and reporting.
• Key Performance Indicators preparations and confirmation based on the timeline for generation, LPF, PLF etc.
• Daily site turbine status reporting to the wind asset Management team
• Daily feedback to the site operation and maintenance team about the performance deviations happening – if any on the real time basis.
• Daily reporting on the trends of the performance, temperature variations happening in the WTGs etc.
• Ensure safety of individual and team on and off work regularly.
• Forecasting and scheduling monitoring for the state and adherence to this strictly.
• Represent the state office in the discussions with central team for functions of RPC3.
Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree or full time Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience (4-5 years +) in Electrical \& mechanical system evaluation of a wind turbine
• High level of English communication skills - written and verbal
Functional Competencies:
• Solid technical skills with emphasis in problem solving and root cause failure analysis.
• Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Able to multitask and prioritize daily work under an ever-growing environment
• Good communication and presentation skills
