Job Description

Role-Senior Engineer Solar O&M

Location-Solapur, Maharashtra

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of the 200MW solar generation facility. This role requires strong technical expertise in solar power systems, grid connectivity, and high-voltage transmission operations, along with leadership skills to manage teams and coordinate with external stakeholders.

• Ensure smooth operation of the solar generation plant connected to the 400kV PGCIL line.
• Monitor plant performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Review and validate engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with grid codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with PGCIL and other authorities for grid synchronization and load dispatch.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Manage contractors and vendors for timely execution of maintenance and upgrades.
• Prepare technical reports, performance analyses, and improvement plans.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols across plant operations.
