Job Description
Position Title – Senior Engineer-Performance Monitoring (Solar)
Experience- 2-5 years
Qualification- B.E./B.Tech-Electrical
Location- Gurugram
Key Responsibilities :
1.Responsible for all aspects of Asset Due Diligence – operational, technical, regulatory, performance related & other aspects.
2.Responsible for handling external generation/ performance related queries & visits – Lenders, Investors, internal stakeholders.
3.Ensure adherence to regulatory, grid, and contractual reporting requirements.
4.New project stabilization – track performance issues & underlying factors, PVSyst validation, Performance Acceptance Test etc.
5.Collect, validate, and analyse non-routine operational/commercial data across multiple sites.
6.Track key operational parameters such as PR (Performance Ratio), CUF (Capacity Utilization Factor), and plant availability on weekly/ monthly/ annual basis.
Mandatory:
a)Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional, O&M and asset management teams.
b)Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving, organizing, reporting & inter-personal skills.
c)Familiarity with solar PV technology, inverters, SCADA, and monitoring platforms.
d)Knowledge of KPIs such as PR, CUF, and energy yield assessment.
Desirable skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau (or other data visualization tools) desired.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret large datasets.
