Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in monitoring and controlling renewable energy assets.
- Expertise in Tier-2 SCADA configuration and operation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of solar plant technical & operational aspects.
- Leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations of ReNew’s Power Diagnostic Center, with prevention by prediction philosophy
- Oversee the performance & operations of the solar assets
- Monitoring Key Performance Indicators & Manage risks
- All management reporting - internal & external
- Digital projects - act as a business translator, track implementation and report value achievements
- Data ownership - Single source of the asset related data for all internal & external consumption
- Provide routine & non-routine inputs to Solar asset management teams for enhancing performance, productivity & reliability of assets.
Good Knowledge of Solar Plants-Apply in-depth knowledge of solar plants to optimize performance. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Team Management-Capable of leading and managing a team of monitoring and analytics professionals.
Daily Generation Report - Portfolio Level: Generate comprehensive daily reports on energy generation at the portfolio level. Analyze and present key performance indicators for management.
LPF Report- Analyze Loss of Production and prepare detailed report.
PLF Trend Report- Monitor trends in Plant Load Factor. Prepare trend reports to identify patterns and optimize generation.
Prolonged Stoppages/Major Breakdown Report- Investigate and prepare reports on prolonged stoppages and major breakdowns.
PR & LPF Analysis- Perform PR & LPF analysis to optimize the energy output of solar farms. Identify and suggest improvements based on analysis outcomes.
Repetitive Errors Analysis- Conduct in-depth analysis of repetitive errors in the operational renewable energy assets.
Critical Parameter Analysis- Analyze critical parameters affecting the performance of solar plants.
Daily Curtailment Report- Prepare and distribute daily reports on curtailment activities. Maintain comprehensive records of curtailments, including reasons and durations. Monitor curtailments closely to optimize energy generation efficiency.
Investor Queries- Capable of providing clear and concise information for investor queries and providing data regarding the operation and performance of renewable energy assets.
SCADA Report- Generate SCADA availability reports. Use SCADA data to optimize the control and monitoring of renewable assets.
Contractual Availability- Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual availability requirements.
Report any deviations and propose corrective actions.
Outlier/Red Flag Report- Identify outliers and red flags in operational data. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
Radiation Analysis- Conduct radiation analysis to optimize energy generation.
