Job Description

Designation: Manager -  SCADA (Wind & Solar)

Location : Gurgaon (Haryana)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering
Experience: 7 to 10 years in SOLAR SCADA OT Systems, Performance Monitoring

 


Role Overview


Manage OT systems, SCADA platforms, communication infrastructure, and associated commercial processes across Wind and Solar assets. Act as the key bridge between Asset Management, IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Finance, Procurement, telecom partners, OEMs, and service providers to ensure reliable operations, governance, and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
•    Coordinate day-to-day OT and SCADA operations across Wind and Solar assets.
•    Support deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Enterprise SCADA platforms.
•    Act as the interface between Asset Management, IT Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams.
•    Coordinate implementation of approved OT security controls and remediation activities.
•    Monitor communication availability, SCADA uptime, network health, and data quality.
•    Manage AMC contracts for SCADA, networking, communication, and OT infrastructure.
•    Manage ILL services, telecom vendors, renewals, escalations, and service-level compliance.
•    Lead vendor governance meetings and track contractual deliverables.
•    Review and validate invoices related to SCADA, telecom, AMC, and OT services.
•    Coordinate invoice booking, monthly provisions, and payment follow-up with Finance and Procurement.
•    Support annual budgeting, forecasting, expenditure monitoring, and cost optimization initiatives.
•    Coordinate site issue resolution through OEMs, contractors, and service providers.
•    Support onboarding of new renewable assets into enterprise monitoring platforms.
Stakeholder Management
•    Asset Management,Operations & Maintenance Teams, IT Infrastructure Team, Cyber Security Team, Finance Team, Procurement & Commercial Team, OEMs and System Integrators, Telecom and Connectivity Providers
SAP & Commercial Knowledge
•    Working knowledge of SAP MM including PR, PO, GRN/GR, vendor management, and procurement workflows.
•    Working knowledge of SAP FICO including invoice booking, cost center allocation, accrual tracking, budget monitoring, and payment processes.
•    Understanding of contract management, commercial compliance, and service-related financial controls.
Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
•    Relevant certifications in Networking, SCADA, Cyber Security, SAP, or Project Management will be an advantage.
Experience
•    7-10 years of experience in Renewable Energy, Utilities, Industrial Automation, OT Systems, SCADA Operations, or Digital Infrastructure.
•    Experience managing vendors, service contracts, telecom services, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
•    Exposure to Wind and/or Solar asset operations preferred.
