Job Description

Job Description – Manager (Policy & Corporate Affairs) 

1)    Building rapport with State Government officials
2)    Advocacy for announcement of favorable policies and representations at various government offices w.r.t. framing positive image building of ReNew.
3)    Know how of processes pertaining to clearances and dealing with Revenue, Energy, Industries, Forest, Finance, etc and Government Ministry level officials alongwith their respective branches at Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.
4)    Getting Statutory Approvals, Permits & Clearances pertaining to Renewable Energy (RE) Projects by advocating and interacting with State Nodal Office (GEDA), CEIG, GERC, GETCO, GUVNL, etc.
5)    Possess hands on experience on all the current policy matters and issues pertaining to RE Sector in the State and Central level.
6)    Keeping track of all regulatory matters and development in Renewable Energy sector pan India. Also impart support to Central Regulatory team with an update pertaining to State wise policies and SERC regulations and orders.
7)    Corporate affairs and Strategy framing for various business units (Wind / Solar / B2B / Manufacturing / Asset Management).
8)    Dealing with matters pertaining to Execution team support for smooth functioning of ongoing current project activities. 
9)    Provide operational support to the business verticals in project execution team.
10)    Know how of Land acquisition process, procedures, fees/charges involved for acquisition of Government land, Private land and Forest land. Also dealing with officials of revenue department for obtaining land approvals, NOCs, Mortgage permissions, etc.
11)    Have great networking within the government offices.
12)    Keep track of all insights of the happenings in RE sector at State Government level and movements of competitor activities.
13)    Knowhow of land acquisition process in RE potential States, procedures, fees/charges and all compliances involved for acquisition of Government land, Private land and Forest land.
14)    Tracking of all STU / CTU current projects which are under execution and providing weekly update along with highlighting bottlenecks and support required by various business teams of Wind/Solar/Hybrid/Solar Manufacturing/etc.
15)    Statutory compliances to be adhered to for all project sites which are operational.
16)    Associate closely with state asset management team and provide support when sought during breakdowns or any other unforeseen situations.
17)    Coordinate and assist in the on-going projects are ensure they are commissioned within the agreed SCOD as per PPA executed with State/Central government bodies OR as per commitments to our B2B clients.
18)    Keeping track record monthly Wind and Solar energy generation and their respective payment receivables against the units generated from commissioned. Highlight the gap/delay in receipt of payment, if any, from Discom/State and mitigation plan to ensure the outstanding is cleared ASAP.
19)    Ensure timely release of Statutory payments pertaining to annual fees to DISCOMs/Transco/CEIG/Nodal offices and also calibration energy meters in all operational projects in coordination with respective O&M team and in consultation with Asset management team.
20)    Support to CSR team for execution of CSR projects in various States. 
21)    Preferable work experience of 10-12 years and past experience in RE sector would be an added advantage.
