Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

Operations of the ReNew Diagnostic Center, with prevention by prediction philosophy

Oversee the performance & operations of assets

Monitoring Key Performance Indicators & Manage risks

Management reporting - internal & external

Digital projects - act as a team member, track implementation and report

Provide routine & non-routine inputs to Wind & Solar asset management teams for enhancing performance, productivity & reliability of assets.

Configure and optimize Tier-2 SCADA system for efficient monitoring and control.

Inverter Availability Tracker:

Major Component Failure Management:

Develop and implement effective strategies for managing major component failures.

Minimize downtime and optimize system performance.

Daily Curtailment Report:

Prepare and distribute daily reports on curtailment activities.

Provide insights into curtailment trends and possible improvements.

Daily Generation Report - Portfolio Level:

LPF Report:

Analyze Loss of Power Factor (LPF) and prepare detailed reports.

Propose measures to maintain optimal power factor levels.

PLF/LPF Trend Report:

Monitor trends in Power Load Factor (PLF) and LPF.

Prepare trend reports to identify patterns and optimize generation.

Prolonged Stoppages/Major Breakdown Report:

Reliability Profile:

Develop and maintain reliability profiles for renewable energy assets.

Ensure high availability and reliability of the entire system.

Performance Ratio Reports:

Outlier/Red Flag Report:

Identify outliers and red flags in operational data.

Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.

Radiation Analysis:

Conduct radiation analysis to optimize energy generation.

Implement strategies for maximizing solar energy conversion.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

1 to 2 years experience in monitoring and controlling renewable energy assets.

Knowledge of SCADA configuration and operation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Knowledge of wind turbines and solar plants.

Leadership skills and experience managing a team.
