Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management:
Prepare, review, and manage various types of contracts (EPC, PMC, O&M, vendor/supplier agreements). Ensure compliance with statutory and organizational contract requirements. Administer contractual correspondence and manage contract lifecycle, including amendments and closures. Coordinate with legal and commercial departments to mitigate risks and resolve disputes. Evaluate contractor claims and ensure timely resolution in line with contractual terms. - Project Monitoring & Reporting:
Track project progress and ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and budget. Develop and maintain project dashboards, progress reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Identify bottlenecks, risks, and propose mitigation measures. Provide periodic updates to senior management and project teams. - Interdepartmental Coordination:
Act as a bridge between departments like Procurement, Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Operations for seamless execution. Ensure effective communication and alignment of goals across functions. Organize and participate in project review meetings and coordination forums. - Budget & Cost Monitoring:
Prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts in coordination with the Finance team. Analyze project expenditures and cost deviations. Provide inputs for cost control and value engineering initiatives. - Land Acquisition Coordination (Basic Understanding):
Coordinate with land acquisition/legal teams for timely possession of land and statutory clearances. Maintain records of land documentation and compliance checklists. Ensure alignment with overall project execution timelines. - Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of contracts, project documents, approvals, and correspondence. Ensure adherence to corporate governance, audit requirements, and regulatory compliances.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent knowledge of project management tools and reporting formats (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint). Good understanding of contract laws and regulatory frameworks. Capable of handling multiple stakeholders and high-pressure situations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent; 10–15 years of experience in contract management and project coordination in infrastructure, power, or EPC sectors. Hands-on experience in project budgeting and MIS reporting.
