Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Case File Management (Pan-India):

Maintain complete and well-organized case files—both physical and digital—including preparation and finalization of case-related transcripts, ensuring up-to-date records across all ongoing legal matters.

2. Legal Drafting & Documentation:

Draft, vet, finalize, and file all necessary legal documents and pleadings related to judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings across forums.

3. Legal Research:

Conduct in-depth legal research and case law analysis to support ongoing litigation, with a focus on identifying favorable precedents and strategic insights.

4. Administrative Coordination:

Maintain hearing calendars, track litigation timelines, schedule meetings, and regularly coordinate with external and panel advocates, as well as internal stakeholders.

5. Internal Communication & Liaison:

Respond to internal teams and departments on legal queries, in coordination with external counsels; support general administrative and legal reporting tasks.

6. Confidentiality & Precision:

Ensure all legal operations are conducted with strict confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to organizational and legal standards.

7. Travel Readiness:

Be open to extensive travel across India to attend court hearings, liaise with panel advocates, gather on-ground case insights, and provide updates to internal teams.

8. Language Proficiency:

Must possess strong command over English and Hindi, along with at least one regional or native language for effective communication in project states.

9. Work Location:

Bangalore-based role, with frequent travel to ReNew’s wind project locations across various states.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple litigations simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external legal partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with legal database or software systems.
  • Good grasp of legal procedures, court systems, and standard legal terminologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with integrity, responsibility, and a commitment to team harmony.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB / LLM) from a recognised law college of a reputed university.
  • Post-Qualification Experience (PQE):
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience handling property-related litigations in lower courts.
  • Practical working knowledge of real estate due diligence in at least one Indian state.
