Key Responsibilities
Land Acquisition Support
- Coordinate with farmers, landowners, aggregators, brokers, and local stakeholders.
- Support negotiations and execution of land purchase, lease, and agreement documentation
- Track acquisition progress and ensure timely closure of land transactions.
- Farmer & Vendor Payment Management
- Process and track payments to farmers, landowners, vendors, and consultants.
- Coordinate with Finance and Accounts teams for timely release of payments.
- Maintain payment records, acknowledgments, and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile payment status and ensure compliance with approved payment processes.
- Prepare payment trackers and MIS reports for management review.
Land Records & Master Data Management
- Maintain and update the master database of all land parcels across solar projects.
- Track parcel-wise details including ownership, acreage, village, tehsil, district, survey numbers, acquisition status, and documentation status.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of land-related master data.
- Generate periodic reports and dashboards for management and project teams.
- Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain organized records of all land-related documents including -Sale Deeds, Lease Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs), Registry Documents, Revenue Records
Mutation Documents, Title Documents, Khasra/Khata Records, Payment Receipts and Approvals - Ensure proper filing, indexing, and retrieval of physical and digital documents.
- Develop and maintain document trackers for all ongoing projects.
- Legal Coordination & Handover
- Coordinate with Legal Department for due diligence and title verification activities.
- Ensure all land documents are complete, authenticated, and properly organized before submission.
- Facilitate smooth handover of land records and transaction documents to the Legal team.
- Track legal observations and coordinate closure of pending documentation requirements.
- Maintain records of legal status and approval milestones.
- Stakeholder & Government Coordination
- Liaise with local authorities, revenue offices, and government departments for land-related matters.
- Support mutation, registration, and other statutory processes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local stakeholders and communities.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on:
- Land acquisition status
- Parcel-wise progress
- Farmer and vendor payments
- Legal handover status
- Ensure timely submission of reports to management.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of land acquisition and land documentation processes.
- Understanding of revenue records and property documentation.
- Experience in vendor and farmer payment coordination.
- Strong record management and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
