Job Description

Position Title- E-BOP Specialist
Experience- 10-12 years
Location- Gurugram

  • Ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for major failures of E-BOP infrastructure and drive horizontal deployment.
  • Achieve and maintain asset performance targets and KPIs, including Availability, Lost Production Factor (LPF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Reliability Factor, maintenance cost, quality of service, and revenue loss.
  • Conduct technical audits of E-BOP infrastructure across operational solar sites.
  • Develop and implement long-term maintenance strategies for E-BOP infrastructure, including Switchyards, Transmission Lines (TL), Power Transformers (Txr), Inverter Duty Transformer (IDT), HT Panels, Current Transformers (CT), Potential Transformers (PT), etc.
    Provide technical support to the operations team during major breakdowns.
  • Formulate strategies for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) spares management across the fleet, and support the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in defining Service Level Agreements (SLA) and evaluating vendor capabilities.
  • Support the SCM team by providing technical clearance prior to procurement of spares or service orders.
  • Define SLAs for E-BOP equipment and collaborate with the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team to finalize them for future projects.
  • Provide closed-loop feedback to the EPC team on design, execution, and quality issues, based on operational experience, to facilitate continuous improvement and lessons learned.
  • Conduct technical training for the operations team and develop technical champions at state/region levels.
  • Oversee routine and specialized testing of E-BOP equipment and monitor the health status of E-Bop Infra.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on asset reliability, evaluation of technology deployed at sites, asset ranking, RCA & CAPA, etc., to senior management.
  • Develop in-house capabilities aimed at optimizing O&M costs of E-BOP infrastructure
