Job Description

Wind-eBoP Incharge 

General Job Description

 

In a role of Wind farm eBoP incharge, you will lead eBoP team & upkeep all deliverables at high level. Will be directly reporting WAM state Lead. Your core job is to carryout PSS, EG & IG O&M works, B-Form execution & comply all statutory requirements like, CEIG, meter calibrations, sub-contractor employement. Coordinate with EB officials for smooth/uninterrupted grid. Condition based monitoring of PSS equipment’s.

  • To systemize the Preventive Maint. & retrofitting operations
  • To plan the reliability enhancement through collecting the proper data by Condition Monitoring.
  • To develop a strong technical knowledge bank for up keeping team strength.

Specific Responsibilities

  •  Persuasive interaction with the EB for round the clock grid availability.
  •  Interface with EB for Line Clearance-permit (L/C) during maintenance of DP / HT structure, transformers, HT line & associated componentry.
  •  Metering points maintenance / changing of CT/PT’s, meters, etc. In consultation with EB officials.
  •  External line maintenance work (up-to metering point) in consultation with state electricity boards.
  •  Sample Checks (at least 5%), auditing and ensuring maintenance of wind farm internal line, WEC transformer and related accessories.
  •  Joint reading along with EB officials, JR preparation, submission, follow ups & collection then circulation of the joint report / credit notes / customer cheques to the concerned customers / dev. Agencies.
  •  Calibration of CT PT, EB Meter.
  •  Follow up with the connected substations in case of grid breakdowns & for the preventive / predictive maintenance.
  •  Preparation for statutory / customer specific electrical inspection and compliance thereof.
  •  Responsible for Operation & Maintenance of Pooling Substations.

Profile & Eligible Criteria

  • Minimum 8-14 year experience in PSS & 33KV IG & EHV O&M activities.
  • Diploma or BE in electrical with experience in eBoP asset operation.
  • Working experience of CTU connected projects is must
  • Safety conscious, Autonomy and sense of initiative
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic environment
  • Team player & High level of integrity
  • Strong organizational skills
