Job Description
Job Purpose
To understand, ensure & enhance the operation of Wind turbine, and converter life by implementing O&M techniques and selecting appropriate design changes.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Preparation of technical specifications/drawings/SOPs/manuals related to the converter & its parts.
2. Selection of alternative components & test methods.
3. Identification & implementation of required design changes.
4. Ensuring the quality of incoming material
5. Establish/SOP to maintain the converter systems.
6. Assist supply chain management with technical specification
7. Educate concerned self-operation & AM team members about the healthy operation of the converter.
Deliverables
1. Knowledge of various converter technologies, understanding technical advantages and limitations for applications in stable operation.
2. Key knowledge in converter parts, software interface, operation & maintenance relevant to converter function and failure analysis work
3. Knowledge of converter assembly designs, software and technical issues for rectification and stable operation.
4. Knowledge of the fundamental converter design principles of wind turbines.
5. Troubleshooting support for the site operation team and collaboration with external consultants & suppliers.
6. Manage performance, lifecycle, and stable operation of converter systems.
7. Knowledge of high voltage power electronics & Solid understanding of electrical systems.
8. Understanding of market development and issues faced & solutions implemented for different converter systems in the wind turbine industry.

1. Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics
2. Experience:10-15 Years
