Job Description
Strategic management
Support strategic planning: Assist in developing and executing strategic plans for the company, aligning business units with the CEO's vision for growth.
Analyse market and policy trends: Conduct research and prepare briefing notes on international renewable energy policy, competitive market positioning, and emerging technologies.
Drive key initiatives: Oversee high-priority projects and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution.
Business operations : Enhance operational efficiency by analysing internal processes to identify and implement optimizations, helping to streamline business workflows.
Monitor performance: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure accountability across the organization and present performance updates to the CEO.
Manage budget and finances: In collaboration with the various functions such as Finance & HR, assist with budget preparation and financial analysis to inform resource allocation and investment decisions.
Sharing a timely risk view to CEO, with potential mitigation steps
Enables right interventions from leadership to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the respective function
Collaborate with BUs and functions as per requirement on matters of strategic importance for solving corporate business priorities
Communication and liaison
Act as a central communicator: Facilitate the flow of information between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders, including executives, board members, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare executive materials: Draft and format high-level communications, including presentations for board meetings, briefing documents, reports, and memos.
Represent the CEO: Act as a representative of the CEO at internal and external meetings and events.
Stakeholder engagement
Build and maintain relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and government officials.
Support fundraising and business development: Help prepare financial analyses and business cases to support new funding proposals and strategic partnerships.
Advocate for the company: Represent the company's interests at industry events, forums, and regulatory discussions.
Essential qualifications:
Post-graduate from Tier 1 institute
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Experience in the energy sector: Candidate must have a background in corporate strategy, consulting, or a related field, with experience in a strategic or operational role.
Prior experience in Power/Renewable Energy will be good but not mandatory.
Skillset requirement:
Strong strategic and analytical skills: The ability to conduct in-depth research and analyse complex information to provide actionable insights.
Strategic thinker who can plan, organize, execute, and report out ideas and results on large-scale engagements.
Organizational and project management skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate complex projects, and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong program management of 'Project roadmap' delivery - highlighting risks and potential mitigation steps.
Identify all cardinal decisions and all the information required for the decision-making process and ensure all the important decision-making processes are process based.
Right dashboards to monitor progress of 'Project' initiatives, esp. from CEO standpoint.
Exceptional communication skills: High-level written and verbal communication abilities are critical for preparing executive materials and serving as a liaison.
High emotional intelligence: The capacity to work effectively with diverse teams and navigate high-stakes situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
