Job Description

About the role:
The candidate will lead and drive strategic initiatives for the Green Hydrogen and Derivatives (Green Ammonia and Methanol) Business at ReNew, covering a spectrum of operational and future-focused projects that align with the company’s long-term roadmap. These initiatives will involve collaborating with senior leadership to influence decision-making, requiring strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to exert influence without formal authority.
A key aspect of this role will be understanding company processes and procedures, doing commercial analysis to optimize the product cost, manage risks, support growth and profitability. This will involve close coordination with various teams to ensure smooth development of projects and providing regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and key milestones.
 
Detailed Responsibilities:
Business Drivers and Interventions: Develop an in-depth understanding of the core business drivers, and provide leadership with insights on critical interventions required to support business growth and operational excellence.
Commercial Analysis: In order to optimize the cost of product, undertake various commercial analysis, understanding various policies, its impact and quantification of such impact
Risk Assessment: Formulate an independent perspective on business risks, identifying potential threats and mitigation strategies. Provide timely insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
Market Assessment: Conduct comprehensive market assessments to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and potential challenges. Analyze the external environment to guide strategic decisions that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Competitor Analysis: Lead competitor analysis by evaluating market players, their strengths and weaknesses, and potential opportunities for differentiation. Share findings with leadership to refine business strategies and maintain a competitive edge
Thought Leadership and Operational Support: Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing strategic input to ensure smooth operations. Ensure that all business functions are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and efficiency targets.
