The Security Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security strategies to safeguard the organization’s assets, infrastructure, and data. This role involves leading a team of security professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and proactively mitigating risks to maintain a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Strategy & Governance:
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Operational Security Management:
- Oversee physical and digital security measures across all facilities and systems.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, breaches, and alerts promptly.
- Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure adherence to relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
- Coordinate internal and external security audits and implement corrective actions.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the security team to achieve operational excellence.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on security best practices.
- Vendor & Technology Management:
- Evaluate and manage security tools, technologies, and third-party vendors.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend proactive measures.
