Responsibilities:
- Understand business problems and identify challenges and constraints
- Design digital and advance analytics solutions to business problems
- Keep updates of any policy changes in power markets
- Implement the solution with an understanding of end-to-end architecture
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders involved in implementation of the solution
- Identify opportunities for implementation of new use cases
- Drive good data governance and adherence to SOPs
- Interact with data scientists, data engineers, UI/UX designers and effectively convey the desired solution design
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our digital transformation initiatives within the solar module and solar cell manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, digital technologies, and the solar cell/module usage. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement, gathering requirements, and ensuring the successful implementation of digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather and document business requirements for digital transformation projects.
Analyze and translate stakeholder needs into clear and actionable specifications for development teams.
Process Analysis:
Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement through digital technologies.
Conduct gap analysis to determine the current state vs. desired state of business operations.
Data Analysis:
Utilize data analytics tools to assess performance metrics and support decision-making processes.
Develop reports and dashboards to track the effectiveness of digital initiatives and operational efficiencies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between business units and IT/development teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication throughout project lifecycles.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and feedback from stakeholders.
Solution Development:
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement digital tools, such as IoT solutions, data analytics systems, and automation technologies.
Assist in the testing and validation of digital solutions to ensure they meet business needs and quality standards.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in digital transformation and solar energy.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify best practices and opportunities for innovation.
Training & Support:
Develop user documentation and training materials to support the adoption of new digital tools and processes.
Provide ongoing support to users and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
4 - 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in manufacturing or renewable energy sectors.
Strong understanding of solar technology and digital transformation tools (e.g., IoT, AI, data analytics).
Proven experience in process analysis and improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
