Job Description

Roles and responsibilitiesRoles and responsibilities
Key Resposibility will be all administrative approvals required in Odisha pumped storage project and also to look after project planning, scheduling & costing of Pumped storage projects in Odisha and other states. This position is based out of Odisha. 
1. Preparation of L1/L2/L3 construction schedules with identifying critical paths including methodology of construction for each proejct components of Hydro/Pumped Storage Projects
2. Prepare/Update Project Schedule, WBS, Micro Schedule, Progress S Curves for all structures including Dam, Head Race Tunnels, Diversion Tunnels, Powerhouse Roads, and other structures.
3. Preparation of Bill quantities, cost estimates and financial models of pumped storage projects along with detailed rate analysis of each item. Analysing technical drawings and preparing cost estimates, JCR – Job Cost Report and project health report
4. Preparation equipment & Machinery requirement inline with Construction programme and detailed specifications of each equipment.
5. Preparation of Contract & tender documents releavnt to civil for EPC Packages & Item rate BoQ Packages.
6. Contract book compilation for technical inputs and preparation for EPC bid for Pump Storage Projects..
7. Preparation of PSP Project tentative cost estimation along with financial year budget for PSP Business Unit.
8. Rate Analysis with markets rates to cross examine DPR project cost submitted by consultants.
9. Costing of project with Rate Analysis for tariff rate calculation for PPA bids and their CAPEX phasing.
10. Analysing technical drawings and preparing cost estimates (Budget), JCR – Job Cost Report
11. Monitoring the progress in line with project schedule using software MSP & Primavera P6
12. Preparation of Daily / Weekly / Monthly Progress report & Progress Monitoring PPTs
13. Prepare/Update Project Schedule, WBS, Micro Schedule, Progress S Curves for all active & upcoming projects (including
14. structures like Rockfill Dam, Tail Race Tunnels, Water conducting system, Penstocks, Powerhouse, Project Roads (RCC & Asphalt Payments) and all other main & infra structures).
15. Prepare/Update Document Control Index, tracking project progress and writing up reports.
16. Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them.
17. Preparation of Catch-up plan to achieve scheduled milestones for project Implementation.
18. Resource planning and monitoring for project based on BOQ for delivery of major project equipment based on schedule.
