Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess a valid law degree (LLB/LLM) from a recognised law college affiliated with a reputed university, and bring strong experience and integrity to support legal functions across renewable energy (RE) projects. The candidate should demonstrate the following competencies and attributes:
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end legal support for RE projects, including title due diligence, litigation management, land lending support and data/document management.
- Strong team leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent managerial capabilities with a focus on timely execution and delivery of high-quality outputs within agreed TATs.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and other relevant locations as required.
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills to independently organise and conduct meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- High proficiency in drafting and comprehending legal documents in both Hindi and English.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting independent title due diligence for large-scale agricultural lands.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations including:
- Renewable Energy & Real Estate Laws
- Transfer of Property Act
- Indian Contract Act
- Civil Procedure Code (CPC)
- Indian Evidence Act
- Indian Stamp Act
- Registration Act
- Practical experience in handling land-related litigations.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook – with the ability to manage large datasets and documentation.
- Strong communication skills to engage and coordinate with multiple internal teams on a regular basis.
- Ability to create, maintain and update legal and project-related trackers (daily, weekly, quarterly).
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to research, evaluate, and recommend resolution-based approaches to complex legal issues.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and work ethics with a growth-oriented and enthusiastic attitude towards contributing to organizational goals.
