Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identification and evaluation of suitable land parcels for the development of solar power projects.
  • End-to-end responsibility for land acquisition processes related to solar projects, including title verification, interpretation of title search reports, execution of registration formalities, and coordination with various government departments such as Revenue, Forest, Gram Panchayat, Town Planning, and Industries for obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Conducting site surveys and securing requisite clearances from revenue authorities.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable procedures and audit requirements.
  • Coordinating with internal departments to facilitate smooth execution of land procurement activities.
  • Assessing land-related site requirements for project feasibility and planning.
  • Procuring all relevant land records for private land acquisitions.
  • Liaising with legal and regulatory bodies to address and mitigate legal risks by adopting suitable actions.
  • Developing strategic plans for both pre- and post-project execution phases.
  • Addressing and resolving potential issues arising during the land acquisition process.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to management.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to various project locations for land procurement and related activities.

Required Skill Sets:

  • In-depth understanding of land acquisition procedures and statutory compliance.
  • Strong legal drafting capabilities with proficiency in English and excellent written communication skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities; analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident in decision-making and expression of ideas.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
