Job Description

Role Overview: -

The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) will be responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of Solar PV and Wind Power Plants to ensure optimum plant performance, availability, reliability, and safety. The trainee will work closely with site operation teams and gain hands-on experience in renewable energy asset management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation and monitoring of Solar PV and Wind Power Plants.
  • Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Monitor plant performance through SCADA systems and analyze operational data.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Plant Availability, PR, CUF, and Generation.
  • Identify operational issues and support troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and contractors for maintenance and site activities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Participate in site inspections, audits, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to operations and maintenance activities.

Desired Skills

  • Basic understanding of Solar PV and Wind Energy systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment, power systems, and safety practices.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and MS Office tools.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
