Job Description
Job Purpose
Responsible for driving process improvement initiatives within the organization to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. This role involves analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies and methodologies to achieve operational excellence. The Operational Excellence personnel will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute process improvement projects and ensure the organization's long-term success.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Devise & implement measurement metrics for monitoring performance with respect to the business plan
2. Innate skills in MIS, Data-Analysis & Data-Management to identify bottlenecks, and make data-driven decisions.
3. Monitoring project manpower, costs, timelines, governance & communication; achieving product costs and margins
4. Working Knowledge of SAP in PP & MM modules – for auditing and inventory management.
5. Digitalization of routine activities for operational efficiency with transparency.
6. Leading Manufacturing Excellence department for Kaizens, Poka-Yoke, QCC & Lean Six Sigma projects to identify and eliminate waste, reduce defects, and improve process efficiency.
7. Process Analysis: Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
8. Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
9. Change Management: Work with cross-functional teams to drive change and ensure the successful adoption of new processes.
10. Training and Development: Provide training and support to employees on process improvement methodologies and tools.
11. Benchmarking: Research and implement best practices and benchmark the organization's processes against industry standards.
12. KPI Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the success of process improvement initiatives.
13. Documentation: Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process maps to ensure transparency and consistency.
14. Report Generation: Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progress and results to management."
