Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate domestic shipments from origin to destination.
  • Liaise with transportation providers and carriers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Track and monitor shipments to proactively resolve delays or issues.
  • Manage logistics documentation, including Waybills, delivery Challans, and Lorry receipts.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure order accuracy and on-time dispatch.
  • Optimize routing and transportation methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Handle customer and internal inquiries regarding delivery status and timelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
  • Support emergency deliveries, rush orders, and special transportation requests when needed.
  • MIS Preparation & tracking of vehicles

Requirements:

  • Should have experience in domestic logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of freight, routing, and distribution strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with transporters.
  • Should have experience of SAP to prepare PO & other related activities  .
