Job Description

General Job Description
Solar SCADA and networking expert & state co-ordinator
 
Specific Responsibilities
1.    Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to integrate SCADA systems with various renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, hydro, and energy storage
•    Interact with SCADA solution providers for implementation of Solar unified Tier-2 SCADA
•    Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new assets onto Tier-2 SCADA
2.    Provide technical support for site teams, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
3.    Develop and maintain documentation for SCADA systems, including standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
4.    Develop and implement testing protocols to validate the performance and reliability of SCADA systems
5.    Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential issues in the SCADA infrastructure
6.    Develop and maintain robust IT networking solutions through ReNew IT team to support SCADA systems.
7.    Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure and scalable networking infrastructure for seamless data transmission
8.    Facilitate data transfer to Forecasting and SCADA solution providers through FTP, SFTP, OPC or API etc.
9.    Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with SCADA system specifications
10.    Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on project status, issues, and resolutions
11.    Daily co-ordination with SCADA OEMs for uninterrupted data access
12.    Ensure end to end data communication from assets to cloud without any interruption, 24X7
13.    Implement and oversee IT & OT security measures in co-ordination with ReNew IT team to safeguard SCADA systems from cyber threats specific to industrial control systems.
14.    Stay current with OT security best practices and proactively address potential vulnerabilities
15.    Stay well informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in SCADA systems.
16.    Conducting proof of concept studies for SCADA based predictive analysis solutions
