Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
1.    Managing vendors & Group of assigned engineers at site level for quality work execution as per the project schedule.
2.    Overall Responsible for planning, execution, monitoring and supervision of works at site.
3.    Coordinate with planning team, engineering, client and sub-contractor’s representative to resolve any quality problems or issues.
4.    Responsible for preparation and compilation of Request for Inspection, Commissioning Package and other documents for project acceptance and O&M handover.
5.    Provide assistance to the Project Manager.
6.    Support to site team in supervision of Erection of Switchyard equipment in accordance with drawings.
7.    Daily reporting and planning of site activity for timely completion.
8.    Responsible for EHS of workers and works safely on day to day activities and observe the worksite and report hazardous situations and prepare JSA to prevent injuries and accidents. Follow all LOTO activities during shut down works.
9.    Verifying all the Drawings to release for execution. Familiarity to IEC / IS codes of equipments and safety protocols.
10.    Supervising & Ensuring Strong knowledge of Substation up to 220 kV / 400 kV erection, Testing, Commissioning & Fault detection and reporting of the same to appropriate authority for the rectification.
11.    Supervising of SCADA work and Communication Protocol scheme, ensuring strong Knowledge of Plant Earthing schemes.
12.    Actively member of HOTO team and handing over commissioned project in the given timeline.
13.    Inspection, testing & reporting of non-conformities in consultation with designated authorities as well as approved FQPs.
14.    Field documentation by compiling all relevant data for switchyard equipment before commissioning and ensuring the correctness for charging the equipment.
15.    Responsible for Identifying and analyzing the risk involved in the project construction with Risk analysis and mitigation of the same in interface with the management team.

Profile & Eligible Criteria
1.    Education: B.E / B-tech Engg. In Electrical Engineering
2.    Experience: 7-12 year Experience in Execution of EHV Substation up to 220 kV / 400 kV.
