Job Description

a)We are looking for an experienced professional to provide operational support to the businesses and manage administrative operations at the state level. The position will be a part of the Strategic Business Development & Policy Affairs team reporting to the state head and working closely with the VP SBD&PA and the business vertical heads. The role is critical factor in our overall performance in a region and at state level.
b)The candidate should have 
i. Proficiency in Power Sector Regulations and Grid Practices at State level; significant experience in liaising with State and Central statutory bodies like SLDC, SRPC, TRANSCOs, DISCOMs, NREDCAP & Secretariate Level. 
ii. Significant experience in dealing with Power Purchase Agreements and monitoring the same in real time. 
iii.Significant experience in dealing with Processing of Invoice & tracking of Receivables and monitoring the same in real time. 

c)The candidate should be comfortable interacting with multiple levels of organisation, management and staff from different locations.
2Experience and Experience  
a)We are looking for fairly seasoned professional with 6 to 8 years of work experience of which at least last 3 years should have been in the power sector handling similar profile in reputed organizations – mid-sized to large organizations. 
b)Should preferably be BE/BTech. 
3Role & Responsibilities 
a)Provide operational support to the business verticals in project execution, getting the required approvals from local/state statutory bodies. 
b)Manage relationships and liaise with local state governments / regulatory bodies, local authorities, state Discom’s/ Transco behalf of the solar and the wind businesses. Liaise with local/state statutory bodies like SLDC, SRPC, TRANSCOs and DISCOMS in close coordination with State Heads
c)33/132/220/400 KV bay allotments from self EPC projects from TRANSCOs
d)Provide Support for execution of PPAs, payments (revenues) and Wheeling of power to Private customers.
e)Follow up on receivables from Discoms 
f)Update with latest developments/changes in the sector, happenings in different projects.
g)Representing the company in various state govt. bodies and at various forums organized regionally.
h)Provide guidance to subordinate staff and evaluate performance.
i)Resolve issues that may arise in a timely manner and provide support for resolution of any regional / local issues impacting the execution or operations. 
j)Assume responsibility for timely reporting to senior management or regulatory agencies
k)Support in Acquisition of Govt. land – revenue and forest for wind and solar projects.
l)Support to compliance team for statutory approvals such as Panchayat NoC, labor license, Factories & other departments as required etc.
m)Ensure timely payment of statutory annual fees CEIG clearances and also calibration energy meters in all operational projects in coordination with respective O&M team.
n)Work closely with local asset management team and provide support when sought during breakdowns or any other unforeseen situations. Be aware of the generation status of all projects in the state. 
o)Support to CSR team for execution of CSR projects by interacting with local stake holders by assessing the suitable project at specified budget.
p)Assist in other tasks as assigned.
