Job Description

Role - Assistant Manager - Performance Monitoring & Data Analytics

Location - Gurgaon - HO

Experience - 5 - 7 Years  (In monitoring and controlling renewable energy assets)

Education - B.E. / B.Tech - Electrical or related discipline

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations of ReNew’s Power Diagnostic Center, with prevention by prediction philosophy
• Oversee the performance & operations of the Solar assets
• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators & Manage risks
• All management reporting - internal & external
• Digital projects - act as a business translator, track implementation and report value achievements
• Data ownership - Single source of the asset related data for all internal & external consumption
• Provide routine & non-routine inputs to Solar asset management teams for enhancing performance, productivity & reliability of assets.

Good Knowledge of Solar Plants:

• Apply in-depth knowledge of Solar plants to optimize performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Team Management:

• Capable of leading and managing a team of monitoring and analytics professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Investor Queries:

• Capable of answering investor queries and provide data regarding the operation and performance of renewable energy assets.
• Provide clear and concise information to stakeholders.

Repetitive Errors Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of repetitive errors in the operational renewable energy assets.
• Implement corrective measures to mitigate and prevent recurring issues.

PR & LPF Analysis:

• Perform PR & LPF analysis to optimize the energy output of Solar farms.
• Identify and implement improvements based on analysis outcomes.

Inverter Availability Tracker:

• Monitor and track the availability of inverters.
• Take proactive measures to minimize downtime and enhance performance.

 Daily Curtailment Report:

• Prepare and distribute daily reports on curtailment activities.
• Provide insights into curtailment trends and possible improvements.

 Daily Generation Report - Portfolio Level:

• Generate comprehensive daily reports on energy generation at the portfolio level.
• Analyze and present key performance indicators to management.

 LPF Report:

• Analyze Loss of Production and prepare detailed reports.
• Propose measures to maintain optimal LPF levels.

Reliability Profile:

• Develop and maintain reliability profiles for renewable energy assets.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of the entire system.

 Performance Ratio Reports:

• Prepare performance ratio reports, evaluating the efficiency of energy conversion.
• Identify areas for improvement in performance ratios.

Outlier/Red Flag Report:

Radiation Analysis:

• Conduct radiation analysis to optimize energy generation.
• Implement strategies for maximizing Solar energy conversion.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Expertise in Tier-2 SCADA configuration and operation.
• Knowledge of Solar plant technical & operational aspects.
