Job Description
Education: MBA Full-time/CA- Inter/CA (preferred)
Experience: 2-5 years
Location: Gurugram
Key Responsibilities:
Foreign Exchange Risk Management
- Identify, monitor and report foreign currency exposures arising from ECBs, foreign currency loans, imports, payables and contractual commitments.
- Execute and manage hedging transactions using:
- FX Forwards
- FX Swaps
- Cross Currency Swaps (CCS)
- Currency Options
- Cost Option Structures (COS)
- Participating Option Structures (POS)
- Zero Cost Collars and other approved products
- Monitor hedge coverage and recommend actions to maintain exposure within approved limits.
- Track mark-to-market (MTM) positions and hedge effectiveness.
Interest Rate Risk Management
- Monitor fixed and floating rate debt portfolio.
- Execute and manage:
- Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
- Interest Rate Caps
- Interest Rate Collars
- Interest Rate Options
- Analyze movements in SOFR, treasury yields and lending benchmarks.
- Support interest cost optimization and debt risk management.
Commodity Price Risk Management
- Track commodity exposures related to solar modules, steel, aluminium, copper and other major procurement categories.
- Support execution of commodity hedging transactions through swaps, futures and options.
- Assess potential impact of commodity price movements on project costs and profitability.
Treasury Dealing & Execution
- Obtain competitive quotes from banks and financial institutions.
- Execute derivative transactions in line with delegated authority and treasury policy.
- Negotiate pricing, premiums, spreads and swap points to optimize hedge costs.
- Manage trade confirmations, settlements and transaction documentation.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with Treasury Policy, FEMA, RBI regulations and ISDA documentation requirements.
- Support hedge accounting under Ind AS 109, including documentation and effectiveness testing.
- Prepare reports on exposures, hedge positions, MTM, risk limits and treasury performance.
- Support management reviews and CFO-level presentations.
Stakeholder & Banking Management
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Project Finance, Procurement, Business Finance, Tax and Accounting teams.
- Support fund raising and financing transactions involving currency and interest rate risks.
