Job Description

  • Preparation of L1/L2/L3 construction schedules with identofying critical paths inclduing methodology of construction for each proejct components of Hydro/Pumped Storage Projects.
  • Prepare/Update Project Schedule, WBS, Micro Schedule, Progress S Curves for all structures including Dam, Head Race Tunnels, Diversion Tunnels, Powerhouse Roads, and other structures.
  • Preparation of Bill quantities, cost estimates and financial models of pumped storage projects along with detailed rate analysis of each item. Analysing technical drawings and preparing cost estimates, JCR – Job Cost Report and project health report.
  • Preparation equipment & Machinery requirement inline with Construction programme and detailed specifications of each equipment.
  • Preparation of Contract & tender documents releavnt to civil for EPC Packages & Item rate BoQ Packages.
  • Contract book compilation for technical inputs and preparation for EPC bid for Pump Storage Projects.
  • Preparation of PSP Project tentative cost estimation along with financial year budget for PSP Business Unit.
  • Rate Analysis with markets rates to cross examine DPR project cost submitted by consultants.
  • Costing of project with Rate Analysis for tariff rate calculation for PPA bids and their CAPEX phasing.
  • Analysing technical drawings and preparing cost estimates (Budget), JCR – Job Cost Report.
  • Monitoring the progress in line with project schedule using software MSP & Primavera P6
  • Preparation of Daily / Weekly / Monthly Progress report & Progress Monitoring PPTs.
  • Prepare/Update Document Control Index, tracking project progress and writing up reports.
  • Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them.
  • Preparation of Catch-up plan to achieve scheduled milestones for project Implementation.
  • Resource planning and monitoring for project based on BOQ for delivery of major project equipment based on schedule.
