Job Description

  • Minimum 18 years of experience in Project Management Office (PMO), handling large-scale industrial projects (preferably solar/semiconductor/electronics/manufacturing sectors).
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve PMO frameworks, governance models, and project management methodologies across the organization.
  • Coordinate closely with project planning, scheduling, engineering, procurement, and execution teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Oversee project lifecycle management including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure while ensuring adherence to scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain standardized project documentation, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting systems for effective decision-making by senior management.
  • Review project progress, identify bottlenecks, risks, and delays, and implement mitigation strategies in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper resource planning, allocation, and utilization across multiple projects for optimum efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive risk management practices by identifying project risks, tracking mitigation plans, and ensuring timely escalation where required.
  • Monitor budget utilization, cost control, and financial performance of projects to avoid cost overruns.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead governance meetings, project reviews, and status reporting forums with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
  • Drive digitalization and automation in project management processes (tools like MS Project, Primavera, SAP, or other PM tools).
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project managers and PMO team members to enhance performance and capability.
  • Monitor change requests and ensure proper change management processes are followed.
  • Ensure proper documentation, version control, and audit readiness for all projects.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.
  • Prepare and present PMO MIS, project dashboards, and executive reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure timely closure of projects with proper handover, documentation, and lessons learned capture.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and ensure high levels of internal customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the PMO and project teams.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project activities.
