Job Description

Position: Assistant General Manager - Administration & Security 

Qualifications: Graduation/Equivalent Course

Experience: 10 to 30 Years

Location: Solapur, Maharashtra

Purpose of the Role:

Assistant General Manager - Administration & Security will be a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and efficient functioning of company assets, personnel, and operations within the area of responsibility with a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including physical security, administrative oversight of projects, guest houses, and warehouses and robust coordination with both internal departments and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, proactive, and experienced professional with a strong understanding of security protocols, administrative best practices, and the unique operational demands of the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist State Head and lead security operations, risk management, and administrative functions across the State.
• Strategic security planning, cost efficiency, and compliance, ensuring smooth execution of projects while safeguarding assets and operations.
• Security Operations & Risk Management.
• Leading security strategies to protect assets and personnel.
• Conducting site surveys, risk assessments, and mitigation planning.
• Ensuring seamless site takeovers under Self O&M and 3rd Party O&M.
• Cost Optimization & Revenue Assurance.
• Driving cost-efficient security and administrative operations for Solar, Wind, and TL sites.
• Managing Right of Way (RoW) issues to prevent project delays and ensure smooth operations.
• Overseeing budget adherence for security, guesthouses, food, and transportation.
• Supporting BCP execution across projects to minimize disruptions.
• Ensuring 100% compliance with the Renew Code of Conduct and conducting regular audits.
• Tech-Based Security & Sustainability Initiatives by implementing E-surveillance, sensors, and advanced security measures for efficiency and cost savings.
• Supporting ESG, sustainability, and CSR initiatives, including security training on human rights.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management in overseeing vendor contracts, negotiations, and performance to ensure high-quality service.
• Coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders for smooth project execution and operations.
